I absolutely love Deirdre Martin's books! I own them all and you have quickly become my favorite romance author. I cannot wait for the new book to come out. Characters in Just a Taste were people I would like to know. The interaction was really believable. To use a cliche, I couldn't put it down. In my opinion this book was the best so far. Even Insane Lorraine caught my attention. Keep up the good work.

I was so happy that Just A Taste came out on January 2nd because I brought it all the way to Italy with me to read on my 8 hour flight home. So let me just say...I love these books. I am a figure skater and I have been doing it all of my life. Naturally, this leads me to an attraction to the sport of hockey and of course, its players. I just finished Chasing Stanley- I read it far into the night because I just could not stop to sleep! It was absolutely wonderful, your best since Body Check. I thought the main characters were much stronger and connected much better than the last two books (I read them all!). I also want to say that I love the ease in which your characters speak to each other, the humor isn't forced, and they don't speak in a manner that is "too hip," which A LOT of contemporary novels do (I find myself asking "Who talks like that in real life?) Also many of today's "funny" books work too hard at it and are just too unbelievable- yours are just right! And, as a Jewish girl from NYC, I could really relate to Delilah! My husband, a huge hockey fan, is very impressed with all the hockey interest I am suddenly having, too! Can't wait for the next one!

Just finished Fairplay. Michael was beyond yummy-even better than Ty and I thought he would be hard to beat! A bunch of us over on Suz Brockmann's board would love to see(or at least hear)that Michael just nails Lubov when they meet because we don't feel that he's suffered nearly enough. I just finished reading Body Check last night and loved it! I really liked the combination of romance and sports. Janna and Ty were really fun to follow. I also wanted to mention that what made this an outstanding book for me was your supporting cast, particularly Lou. What a great character with heart, no pun intended.

Loved your 1st book. I was slowed down in this one because of the Italian words I didn't understand : gavone, cafone, poseur, paisan, farabutto, vaffanculo, ubatz, madonn, cidrule, bucone, cogliones, faccula, maleducato, agita, sfacciato.... I really needed a Glossary
